Steps to register

Please refer to the important information section below before starting the registration process.

If you are registering as an author of a full paper, short paper or poster or as a non-author:

  1. Click here to open the registration system.
  2. Select the correspondent ticket type. The type of registration (Author or non-author registrations) is informed after selecting the ticket type.

Note #1: IEEE Student Members / Non-Members author rate is available only for authors of papers in the doctoral consortium. Students who are registering as authors of papers selected as "full paper, short paper, poster" in tracks other than doctoral consortium must register at IEEE Member Rate / IEEE Non-Member Rate and pay the corresponding fees under "Author Registration" column.

Note #2: If you are registering as an author of more than one paper, there’s an additional fee with a discount for the second paper. You must select one of the regular fees (IEEE Member Rate / IEEE Non-Member rate) for the first paper and select the “Additional 2nd paper fee” (IEEE Member Rate / IEEE Non-Member rate) for the second paper: US$ 265 (for an IEEE Member) and US$ 340 (for an IEEE Non-Member). The third paper will be charged the flat rate, namely IEEE Member Rate/IEEE Non-Member Rate and the flat rate must be selected in the same ticket type of the first paper. 3. Enter your full name (Purchaser) and your email and proceed to next step.

4. On the “Payment” page, select the type of registration and fill the registration form(s) accordingly. You must select the applicable category (author or non-author), fill the paper details and the relevant information, save and choose the payment method (only the PayPal method is available in the registration system).

5. The last page (“Confirm”) provides a summary of the inserted information and the payments to be made. If all the information is ok, click on “Confirm Purchase”.

6. When you confirm the registration, a purchase No. is provided. Please, take note of this number. To complete the payment, you should click on “Pay with PayPal”. You will be redirected to the PayPal website to complete the payment. Once the payment has been processed you will be redirected back to the registration system and a confirmation will be displayed. An email confirming the registration is also sent to the email provided. We recommend you keep a copy of this page for future reference.

Note #3: The registration is only confirmed when the payment is concluded using PayPal.

If you are registering as an author of the doctoral consortium:

1. Click here to open the registration system.

2. Authors registering for the doctoral consortium (DC) under the IEEE Student Members / Non-Members category must select one of the following ticket types, accordingly, "Advance Registration - Student IEEE Member"  or "Advance Registration - Student IEEE Non-member".

3. Enter your full name (Purchaser) and your email and proceed to next step.

4. On the “Payment” page, select the type of registration and fill the registration form(s) accordingly. You must select the applicable category (author or non-author), fill the paper details and the relevant information, save and choose the payment method (only the PayPal method is available in the registration system).

5. The last page (“Confirm”) provides a summary of the inserted information and the payments to be made. If all the information is ok, click on “Confirm Purchase”.

6. When you confirm the registration, a purchase No. is provided. Please, take note of this number. To complete the payment, you should click on “Pay with PayPal”. You will be redirected to the PayPal website to complete the payment. Once the payment has been processed you will be redirected back to the registration system and a confirmation will be displayed. An email confirming the registration is also sent to the email provided. We recommend you keep a copy of this page for future reference.

Important Information

  • IEEE Student Member / Non-Member author rate is available only for authors of papers in the doctoral consortium. Students who are registering as authors of papers selected as "full paper, short paper, poster" in tracks other than doctoral consortium must register at IEEE Member Rate / IEEE Non-Member Rate and pay the corresponding fees under "Author Registration" column.
  • If you have multiple papers you must register for the first paper at a specific flat rate, namely IEEE Member Rate / IEEE Non-Member Rate. For the second paper, you must select the “Additional 2nd paper fee” (IEEE Member Rate / IEEE Non-Member rate) for the second paper: US$ 265 (for an IEEE Member) and US$ 340 (for an IEEE Non-Member). From the third paper on, you must register for the flat rate (IEEE Member Rat /IEEE Non-Member Rate). If you have questions to register for more than 3 papers under the same author registration, please send an email to icalt2019@gmail.com with the title Same Author More than 3 papers. Direct Bank Transfer or Payment by "Nota de Empenho"

Participants interested to make the payment directly to the conference bank account or to make the payment by "Nota de Empenho" (only for Brazilian Participants) are requested to register here.
Note: Once the registration has been completed, participants are requested to send a mail to icalt2019@gmail.com with the subject direct bank transfer (for those transferring the registration fee) or "Nota de Empenho"  (for Brazilians paying by "Nota de Empenho") along with the details of the transaction and proof of payment.
